Birth Certificate Attestation

Birth Certificate attestation is a process in which the Birth Certificate is recognized by an officer/department/authority with their official seal & signature. The attestation substantiate that the attested Birth certificate has been issued by the specified department and also validates the seal & signature on the birth certificate.

Attestation Procedure:

The birth Certificate Attestation can be executed only from the issuing Country of the certificate. If the Certificate holder wishes to go abroad then he will have to get his birth certificate authenticated from the concerned State Home Department and then process for Ministry Of External Affairs and finally get it attested from the concerned Embassy of the Country to which the birth Certificate holder intends to go.
